Mayslake Peabody Estate

Mayslake Peabody Estate in Oak Brook is comprised of Mayslake Hall; The Learning Institute; and the Portiuncula Chapel, a replica of the Chapel of St. Francis of Assisi in Italy.  The 39-room Tudor Revival-style Mayslake Hall was the former home of coal baron Francis Stuyvesant Peabody.  It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and currently hosts "Restoration in Progress" tours, lecture series, musical performances, educational programs and theatrical performances by First Folio Theatre.
